The Definition of Inconclusive

Yep… the EEG tests came back…. inconclusive. Which means we look forward to the MRI in mid june.

Lucky us.

The doctor has warned us, that although Mitchell probably doesn’t have epilepsy (the results were inconclusive, but in a good way as there was nothing in the scan to indicate it needs to be repeated), he has a high chance of having repeat febrile convulsions because his body reacts to infection by increasing temperature and convulsing. *sigh*

Words can’t convey how scary it is to see your son, your baby… go through an episode, and I don’t think I will ever get used to it. It tears at my heart when it happens… the only good thing is, he will grow out of it around age 6. 5 years to go…
