You can sing along to most ABBA songs;
NOT because you liked ABBA but because your parents did.
My musical tastes in the 80’s certainly didn’t include ABBA and yet, even now I can sing along to most of the ABBA songs, the words burned into my brain by my parents constant playing of records (yeah – records – you know those plastic vinyl discs you used to have to play in order to listen to recorded music back in the day…). This also extends to the Beatles, the Carpenters and *gag* Neil Diamond. Mumma Mia … here we go again!
