Transformers TCG: War for Cybertron Exclusive Reveal – Sergeant Skrapnel

Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro Australia have given me an exclusive reveal of one of the character cards from the next set of the Transformers Trading Card Game (TCG): War for Cybertron Seige.

Introducing Sergeant Skrapnel, a leader Insecticon card… card… card.

Sergeant-Skrapnel

Skrapnel is interesting as his alt mode directly uses the brave ability without the need for the bravery battlecard. If you have him in your team you can redirect attacks to him protecting and extending the ability of your primary attacker(s).

He’s a common card so he should be reasonably easy to collect and utilise in a team.

As with all the previous sets the imagery looks awesome and I can’t wait to see how the foil is applied. The electricity almost jumps out of the bot mode side of the card.

Do you think you’ll want Sergeant Skrapnel leading your Insecticon TCG army?

The War for Cybertron Seige TCG set will be released in Australia on June 28th 2019 as well as other countries in the world including the USA and Asia.

I am enjoying the progression of the Transformers trading cards. From titan cards to combiners and now a TCG set that will give us a direct connection to the current Transformers toy line. I absolutely love the idea of tying some of the cards directly to the Transformers figures. It’s definitely a great way to engage players of all ages. How exciting would it be to see an exclusive TCG card with one of the toy releases in the future? Am I hoping for too much?

Big thanks to Wizards of the Coast Australia and Hasbro Australia for allowing me to once again share a reveal with you.

Make sure you head over to my mate Trev’s site to see yet another exclusive reveal today too – Private Stakeout.
